    guaranteeing a playoff spot i’ll agree with but they should seriously seed them by the points they’ve achieved!

    and +1 to the win = 3 pt , ot/so win = 2pt, ot/so loss = 1pt, reg loss = 0pt idea.

    Last year i said bozak would never be a first line center. Now that we have a 1st line center….(Connolly) i certainly dont mind bozak being it instead, because he has been great.

    Lot of fans are just saying No to the poll because if division leaders didn’t get top 3 spots Leafs would be 6th in 7th.

    If we were top of a bad decision, everyone would vote yes.

    Point system isn’t all that bad, i like the whole division gets seeded top three. The REAL problem is how weak the southeast is… I mean, Florida isn’t as good as their record states (11 OT losses like you mentioned helps), Winnipeg isn’t very good, TB is usually pretty decent (lord knows whats going on there), Washington is the only team that’s really a force to be reckoned with in the SE, and do I really need to mention Carolina? I mean it’s normal for there to be 1 maybe 2 mediocre teams in a division but for the most part there’s 3 of them in the SE any given year (and sometimes 4).

    However, I can see how you make the point of a win being 3 points somewhat solving the problem.

    Nevertheless, I feel that the NHL needs to shake up who they have in their division rather than it being by timezone. (I mean, and this is an example, throwing the flyers or pittsburgh in the southeast division in exchange for say carolina? Would make a tigher race in the SE making the team in that division being seeded 3rd seem a little more justified)

    My 2 cents. Sorry if I didn’t make much sense, had a lot of thoughts running through my head at once and was trying to get them all out there =P.
