About Steve Dangle
I make internet videos in my room.
Wait! Don’t go. There’s more…
In October 2007, I started making YouTube videos about hockey. Now it’s my job… yeah. The last few years have been crazy.
In a nutshell, I presently do a combination of blogging, producing, reporting, writing, and social media for CBC Sports (Associate Producer), the KHL’s YouTube channel (Producer), Ambit Inc for Nike Hockey (Junior Social Media Strategist), TheLeafsNation.com (Contributor), and some freelance fun. In the past, I have also worked at Leafs TV (Broadcast and Content Associate Producer) and the NHL Network (Story Editor). And before all that, I worked at the Toronto Zoo. It’s pretty sweet. I did the tour bus commentary and stuff. Did you know a giraffe’s kick is strong enough to crush the skull of a lion? You do now.
I was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. In 1999, Scarborough became part of Toronto and people Canada-wide started to like me less. As an extremely hyper child, I spent most of my time running around the living room screaming during Leafs games. In fact, my most notable hockey injury is a small scar beside my left eye from running into a wall playing driveway hockey as a 3-year-old. That’ll happen.
Now I have a website. And you’re on it. Well hello there!
Enjoy.

Master Dangle, I have to say I thoroughly relish yours and Andrey’s commentary stylings on the KHL highlights. Meanwhile in Japan, I in the process of evolving a hockey commentary endeavor that I reckon you’ll enjoy. The latest experimental installment can be seen on my youtube channel gregarious19.

Hey Steve its marco again. im going to leave a comment on your facebook page aswell as your twitter because i was really hoping you could help me out.
I’m going to start up a youtube channel (dont know the name yet haha) but i was going to do something similar to what your doing. Like im going to review every leafs game and base my opinion and what not. Is there anyway you could helpe me get noticed once a start. I know im just another person like any other that would be asking this, but im a huge leafs fan and have quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to the leafs, just like you. So if you could help me out that would be sick. Also can you return the favor and follow me on twitter @marcofbruni.
Thanks dude and sorry for your loss, i know what it feels like to lose an italian nonna and it sucks, so stay strong man and just think about the positives like her amazing pasta im guessing.

Congratulations. I have not listened to the radio show since last year. But I wanted to know the big news. You are a complete snoro to make us wait like that. The web site is excellent. Keep up the excellent work. Now the next big news will be your journalist job : so work on it because you have what it takes to become a full time reporter for CBC. In Montreal you would have a job already but Toronto is so huge, it’s like competing with New-York. In Saint-John, Halifax or you would have already a radio show but Toronto is the most complex market in Canada. Smaller towns would assure you a radio show and a newspaper job : compare the populations : Edmonton 730 372 hab. (2007 Victoria 78 057 hab. (2007) Charlottetown 32 174 hab. (2007) Winnipeg 633 451 hab. (2007) Fredericton 50 535 hab. (2007) Halifax 372 679 hab. (2007) Toronto 2 503 281 hab. (2007) Québec 503 492 hab. (2008) Regina 179 246 hab. (2007) Terre- St. John’s 100 646 hab. (2007) Montreal 1 906 811 hab. (2009). The smaller the populations are, the bigger us your talent and resources compared to compretition. Think of it snoro.
Very nice! Totally makes up for the long drawn out “it’s big and it’s news… and it’s news and it’s big” intro to the actual news. Maybe not for Justin’s on-air waffle chewing though.
